Yin yoga is a synergy of the ancient sciences of both Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a therapeutic movement and meditation practice that stimulates the neuromuscular pathways, stretches and lubricates the connective tissues of the body and increases activation of the parasympathetic nervous system. It is slow and meditative, creating a state of physical and mental awareness.
